Due to this summer's draught, then the subsequent heavy rains, our last cutting is a full month late. These new bales are the prettiest we've seen in years.
What with the obvious shortage in hay this year, it's time to stock up for the winter. Don't let yourself run short. If you've never bought enough to last a season, this is the year to do it. If you've never fed your horses by round bale, this is the year to try. It's easy to peel off the layers and feed a little at a time. Not only will your cost be cut in half but the netwrapped round bales can be stored outside.
